Noynoy and Undeserving But Lucky Men
Some people say life is not fair. Most of the time, I guess it is true. It appears to be true in politics as well. There are politicians who did literally nothing while they are elected to do ’something’. There are those who are in jail but get elected for some reason. There are those who have no experience at all. Some like Noynoy are lucky to have parents so popular that even the support given to their parents was inherited by Noynoy.
Unfortunately, some people, no matter how good and experienced, do not have a shot to be elected.
Sometimes, I am wondering what it takes to be elected.
To the undeserving but lucky ones, I hope you strive to do a good job if you are elected. If you have good intentions, it is a good start. However, it should not stop with just good intentions. Please do all your best to make this country the best. After all, the Filipinos deserve it.
